Light but warm enough autumn & early winter. As a hot sleeper, I usually have the heater on for an hour or so before turning it off with the blanket. I don't have any extra underlays so for peak winter I will definitely need to get some more layering to keep warm at night. This was my 1st quilt purchase, previous was Minijumbuk & I prefer the material still
